I LOVE Log Cabins! And, as anyone who has followed my work at all knows, I also love stars. So, Log Cabin Stars, Perfect! This quilt first appeared in my book “Bumblebee Lane” in the “Quilted Prairie” series, published in 2008. I’ve made a few changes, added the primitive stitching in the borders, but kept the simple beauty of the traditional blocks. Liberty Homestead’s hand dyed, sueded cottons complete this timeless look, and that’s why it’s a Classic!
The kit includes Liberty Homestead’s hand dyed cottons in Cattails, Straw, and Barn Red. Also included are coordinating DMC embroidery floss and tiny 1/8” buttons for the primitive stitched vines and flowers. Does not include backing.
