This quilt is one of my most recent favorites in this collection. I first published it as the first design in the popular Farmhouse Quilts “Little Book” series in 2011. It combines my favorite Sawtooth Star with the lesser known “Oddfellow’s Chain”. The little pop of red as an accent and the easily made floral appliques give this sharply geometric quilt just the right touch of whimsy. Add in the charming framed picture and - it’s a classic!
The kit includes enough to make both the quilt and the framed picture: Liberty Homestead’s hand dyed cotton in Straw and Saddle along with wonderful black prints and a pop of red. Also included is light and dark tan DMC embroidery floss and 3/8” Red buttons for the flower centers. Does not include backing.
