Mailbox Quilts is a continuing series of unique little quilts designed by Maria Tamaoka of Pinwheels and myself.  Each quilt begins as a 5 week block of the month program – sent right to your “Mailbox”.  After that the quilts are available as a complete kit.  Our goal was to show what a difference fabric choices make in your own quilts.  Maria made the quilt in her imported Japanese taupes while I made the same quilt in my own hand dyed, sueded cottons.  You can see Maria’s version on her website, www.pinwheels.com, and my quilts shown here.
